Humble and Kind
“Hold the door say please say thank you
Don’t steal, don’t cheat, and don’t lie
I know you got mountains to climb but
Always stay humble and kind
When the dreams you’re dreamin’ come to you
When the work you put in is realized
Let yourself feel the pride but
Always stay humble and kind” Tim McGraw- Humble and Kind
Life is what it’s all about. You are perfectly and beautiful you. When it comes down to what we do during the day we need to take it with a positive outlook. We all hate Monday’s. It’s the day that stay-at-home mothers get to wake up early and get the kids ready and off to school. It is the day that people wake up with the sun and have to get off to work. They have to deal with the daily traffic. Sometimes our Mondays don’t start off as we planned them.
Not to be overly religious here, but we have Sundays. It’s the day of the week that the bible states that we take a day of rest on the Sabbath or the 7th day of the week. This day is to be the day we rest. The day we spend with our families to rejuvenate. Now don’t get me wrong not everyone works a 9-5 job Monday thru Friday. Your day of rest might be some other day of the week.
However, we plan to do our daily grind we have to look at it and think how am I going to achieve this task. The goal really is to wake up in the morning and be humble and kind. Take a moment to hold the door for someone. Remember to say please and thank you, the same words that we teach our children to say.
The goal is to remember whatever mountain you have to climb. Whatever the tasks may be, do it in a way that you can stay humble and kind. When you achieve that goal, the dreams you are dreamin’, come to you and you make it. That the works you put in is realized. When someone notices the hard work you are doing no matter what it is that you had to do. As the song goes, let yourself feel the pride, but always stay humble and kind.
That is how we need to do everything in life, even when we are having a bad day. When the struggles of the day cause you to be stressed out, remember to be humble and kind.
